What is it about?

We are looking for a talented Senior Test Automation Engineers to help our product engineering teams become better at testing their products. A person in this role will focus on continuous improvement of our testing processes, tools and test automation sets.

As part of this interview we would like to learn more about your knowledge and skills of applying QA methodologies and tools to test a particular functionality.

What should you expect?

During the first 50 minutes you will work on a test automation case that we will present to you in the first 10 min of the interview. You will have the full autonomy to decide what and how to test to ensure we cover everything to prevent surprises on production. We understand that 50 min might not be enough for a complete solution but we would like to have some automated tests that are complete and your analysis of the problem and best ways to approach the testing. Do not hesitate to apply expose your knowledge of good practices that you have learnt and employed in the past. You will have the opportunity to ask your questions in the last 10 min of the interview. Hence, do not hesitate to prepare questions.

What do we expect?

We expect you to demonstrate your ability to code clear and structured automated tests using your judgement of the situation, identifying potential edge cases and risks. This is a pair programming session that allows you to ask all relevant questions to the Luko engineer that pairs with you and share your ideas even if you do not implement all of them in the given time. We are user-centric and we expect that you would be thinking of the impact on the user (internal or external) and outline in a practical solution that would fulfil the customer expectations in terms of quality. You can expect that we will be helping you through out the interview by guiding you with questions and hints that will allow you to perform at your best.
